From Our Principal
Greetings Families,

Thank you to so many families for coming to PEC #3! Our staff enjoys spending time with you and we work hard to prep for the day. Your attendance is greatly appreciated at these events!

I enjoyed chatting with more than 40 of you in my workshop about developing autonomy in our children. So many of you expressed an interest that I am committing to a multi-part series :) Please consider joining me on March 19th or 21st from 9:30-11:00am in the Forum for Part II of Developing Autonomy. See you there!

From Our Dean of Students
Hello Families!

I heard SO many great things about PEC on Wednesday! We know that it can take some creative juggling to make space for events like this--childcare, work schedules, brain energy...all of the above! We appreciate all that you do to make it to these important events that fuel our minds and hearts with all the good stuff.Thank You!
While you were at PEC, I was in Pittsburgh visiting with several schools that are also doing great things for kids. As part of the Transforming Learning Collaborative (a partnership between Da Vinci, Schools That Can, and Next Generation Learning Challenges) I am serving as a yearlong mentor for a school district in Ohio that is in the process of transforming their instructional program--I saw and was inspired by so much during this visit! If you'd like to know more, stop me any time to chat, I love sharing about the good work educators are doing across our nation!

Finally, you may have noticed that last week's newsletter included a faulty link to sign up for our first Brainstorm Book Club on the 14th @ 2:00pm--THIS sign up should work! I hope you can make it to our first session!!

Enjoy the Weekend,

Things You Need to Know This Week!
