From Our Dean of Students

I have several celebrations to share this week!

First, I want to celebrate everyone who participated in Exhibition! We had Exhibition events on Monday and Tuesday night for our Hybrid students, on Wednesday night for our Collaborative students, and on Thursday morning for our Algebra students! With each presenter I visited, I noticed a depth of content knowledge, a sense of pride, and a confidence in public speaking that reaffirms how special and important these "show what you know" opportunities are :) Thank you for supporting your students in feeling ready for these experiences!

I would also like to celebrate every staff member who presented at PEC, and for every home educator that participated in PEC, and attended workshops throughout the day! We know it takes time, re-scheduling, and extra brain space to be present at these events, and we appreciate you for making it happen!

Finally, I want to celebrate the many people it took to organize a successful middle school dance at the end of November! Our 6th-8th grade students had a great time dancing, participating in a Silent Disco, and painting their faces with glow in the dark paint with their friends ;) A huge shoutout goes to all the student planners and families who donated and helped set up/clean up, and the teachers who chaperoned! I also want to share a special Thank You to Glow House Gaming Co., and the Higashi and Filipowicz families for their extra support. Thanks for making the dance a night to remember for our students!

Enjoy your weekend :)
