Greetings DVIA Families!

A Few Words From Our Director

Hello Everyone!

I hope you have enjoyed your time with family these past few weeks. We are excited to see all of you! The staff has been hard at work this past week preparing projects and the various supports we put in place for your learners. We had the opportunity to spend two days collaborating with the staff from Thrive Public Schools in San Diego (the school that Nicole Tempel Assisi, DVIA Founding Principal, now leads). Spending so much time talking about projects for your children have sure made us miss them! Thank you for being part of our community!

We are diving into second semester with a lot of great events. Please read carefully below. I'd like to highlight the next DVIA FUNdraiser this coming Friday at Pump It Up in Torrance. This is a "bouncy style" indoor playground for kids. See more info below and I hope to see you there!

Have a great week!

Tyler's Two Cents

tyler two cents Families,

Happy 2015 families!! I hope you all had a wonderful time with your kids over break and are feeling ready and recharged for the new semester.

Speaking of recharging, I'd like to offer you all the opportunity to submit a work sample for the months of January and February that focuses on the Habit of Reflection. We are deeming the theme for these months "Jpeg January" and are asking families to submit jpegs of what reflection means to their kids. For those that don't know, jpegs are just another name for a digital photo file.

Please email your jpegs to me by Jan 28th and we will "see" all your kid's hard work.

Thanks and have a great week!
