Greetings, DVIA Families!
From Our Principal
Greetings Families,

I wish to cordially invite you to spend some time connecting with fellow parents educators at next Monday and Tuesday's Parent Education Conference. Our gift to you during staff appreciation week is a "good vibes only" series of workshops by an amazing group of professionals that want to support you! I hope you will be there! More information is available on the flyer in the blurb below.

Thanks!

From Our Dean of Students
Hello Families,

Our first middle school dance was a success! Our students had a great time, all thanks to our student planning committee and the parent volunteers who supported them! I'm already looking forward to the next one :)

If your student missed one or more of the state tests, please sign up for a make-up session with me, either on Monday 5/14 or Tuesday 5/15 in the Makerspace. Details can be found in this Sign up Genius! E-mail me with any questions you might have.

Finally, I am SO excited for next week's Parent Educator conferences on Monday and Tuesday! Our guest speakers are eager to share their gifts with you :) Don't forget to order lunch after the conference--this is also the first Parent Educator Conference that we've made available to friends and family of DVIA, as well as to new families who will begin in the fall! If you see a new or unfamiliar face, be sure to introduce yourself!

Enjoy Your Week!

We are excited to announce DVIA's Summer Camp and hope your child(ren) will join us! Keep the learning and fun going even after school is out. We've created 8 different themes--a little something for everyone! A special note about the musical theater camp in July: the final performance will be on the morning of August 1st and students in both camps will perform for their own families, any other DVIA friends and families who want to attend, and it will be a "welcome back" performance for the staff, who will begin their professional development for the 2018-2019 school year that day! So much fun! Also, to make the registration process easy and convenient, we've created an Eventbrite for online sign up and payment! Thanks for joining us!
