We set up a playdough center outside for students to use during breaksm and they love it! We need community help to keep us stocked up on fresh playdough. Please sign up on Sign-Up Genius if you can contribute supplies. We prefer homemade playdough, which is inexpensive to make and can double as a homeschool learning lesson. You can find the recipe here.
PERC Needs You!
PERC is our new Parent Educator Resource Center located in the lobby behind the Welcome Desk. Many of you have already been meeting there to discuss lesson ideas. Yay! We have space, a great table and our first supplies, but we need your help to make it even more useful for our Parent Educators. Please contact Janette to join the team and share your ideas. No team tryouts - everybody plays! Also, check out our PERC logo created by parent and artist, PeQue Brown!

Pizza Lunch & Spirit Days
Thursday, October 31st & Friday, November 1
Core 4 families are asked to host this month. Supplies and volunteers are still needed. Sign up here.
The Spirit Days for October will focus on the "Reflection" Habit of Heart & Mind. Students are encouraged to dress up in a costume that symbolizes how they reflect on their school work, themselves and/or their world. One example is a student wearing her Brownie uniform because she has reflected that Brownies make the world a better place. Another might be a student who dresses as Leonardo Da Vinci because he reflected that his Da Vinci report didn't capture his best work. Students will have an opportunity to share their costume at Community Dialogue meetings.
Astro Camp Video Night
A special time to meet and tell stories and share experiences from Astro Camp is being planned. In the meantime, please have your students put camp pictures on a flash drive and get them ready to share!
