Dean of Students
Kaitlin is a founding teacher for Da Vinci Innovation Academy, and is thrilled to begin her new role as DVIA’s Dean of Students. She began her journey into the field of education at Sonoma State University, where she earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Human Development. She then earned a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at CSUSB, and has just completed a graduate program through the Charter and Autonomous School Leadership Academy at CSUDH, where she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and her Administrative Services credential. Along the way, Kaitlin has also earned a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit, and has had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a tutor for a young man who is thriving with Autism and an Intellectual Disability (you can find his smiling face on her key chain that may or may not be holding too many keys…). She has deep gratitude for these unique experiences that are helping to shape who she is as an educator. When not supporting students, families, and the incredible DVIA staff, Kaitlin is most likely going on adventures with her husband, and cracking jokes that only she thinks are funny.
